Week 3 versus the Bengals is a game the Philadelphia Eagles should win.

This shouldn’t come as earth-shattering news to anyone that’s a Cincinnati Bengals fan, but the selection of Joe Burrow isn’t going to be enough to pull this team out of the cellar in the AFC North. Their coach, Zac Taylor, is entering his second season at the helm of a squad that went 2-14 a season ago. The other three teams in this division just have better talent.

No disrespect is intended to the guys the Bengals employ. The acquisition of D. J. Reader, Vonn Bell, Mackensie Alexander, and Trae Waynes will help this team tremendously. Adding Tee Higgins in Round 2 of the most recent draft gives Burrow a nice weapon on the other side of A.J. Green, but the other three teams in the AFC North are better from top to bottom.

Plus, it should take time for these guys to gel. The Eagles meet the Bengals early in 2020, Week 3 to be exact, and this is a game Philadelphia should win pretty handily, but we all know how the “Birds” do in games like those. Can you say “trap game”?
