. . . Baltimore Ravens. 1. team. 26

Is it possible that the Baltimore Ravens can be any better than what we saw in 2019? Well, it’s going to be hard to do much better than the 14-2 win-loss total they stacked a year ago, but from a standpoint that’s totally based on what they bring to the table, this could be one of the most gifted teams that we’ve seen.

After taking a huge step forward in 2019 and taking home the MVP trophy, an older and wiser Lamar Jackson is already scary enough, but then Baltimore added J. K. Dobbins and Devin Duvernay to what the Ravens already had on offense during the most recent draft.

Throw in new additions like Calais Campbell, Derek Wolfe, and the newly drafted Patrick Queen and Malik Harrison, and the Ravens should be stout on defense too. This won’t just be the Eagles’ toughest opponent from the AFC North. They figure to be one of the toughest opponents that the “Birds” face all season.

The fact that the AFC North Champions punctuate a three-game stretch that includes games versus the Niners and the Steelers and they precede three straight NFC East matchups won’t help matters either. Circle October 18th. As has been mentioned so many times in this story and others, Eagles fans should have a pretty nice gauge on how good their team will be early in the campaign.
