2. The Philadelphia Eagles may have too many “cooks” in the “kitchen”.

Some of you love the idea, and some of you don’t. You’ve, no doubt, heard the news if you’re a “Birds” fan though. When 2019 rolls around, Philly’s taking the field with a slight wrinkle in the coaching staff. They won’t have an offensive coordinator.

More from Inside the Iggles

Doug Pederson will maintain playcalling duties. Former offensive coordinator and assistant head coach Marty Mornhinweg returns as a senior offensive consultant. Rich Scangarello joins the nest as a senior offensive assistant. Press Taylor is the passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

Stability and consistency are important for Wentz. He’s already had two offensive coordinators in Frank Reich and Mike Groh. He excelled under one and struggled with the other. Scangarello, Mornhinweg, and Taylor will play a huge role in both the development of Wentz and in creating the offensive gameplan for gamedays.

Will the Eagles benefit from having the new voices in the NovaCare Complex or will this be a case of having too many cooks in the kitchen? If you’re pulling for Wentz and if you’re a “Birds” fan, you have to hope this turns out to be a good thing.
