Philadelphia Eagles fans should have three games circled on 2020’s schedule.

Each and every Philadelphia Eagles game carries value, but some games simply matter more. Few games on the schedule every year rival games with playoff implications or a contest between two rivals. Seemingly, once a week, NFL fans are treated to games where a lot is on the line.

Last year, the rival Dallas Cowboys were visiting Philadelphia in a Week 16 showdown at Lincoln Financial Field. The Eagles were able to pull out a 17-9 win, but this game was more than just the Eagles’ eighth victory of the season. It essentially gave the Eagles the inroad to the playoffs while simultaneously knocking the Cowboys out of playoff contention. Talk about a win-win situation.

Carson Wentz and company have a number of showdowns against some of the top teams in the NFL this upcoming season. They’ll play in a total of four nationally televised games. All are important, but here are three games outside of the evening window that will put the talent and determination of the Eagles to the test. These three games have make-or-break potential and will showcase whether or not the Eagles are legitimate Super Bowl contenders
