Wait the Philadelphia Eagles didn’t land two busts in the first two rounds, did they?

If you spend enough time on social media, you’re liable to hear or see anything. You’re not going to believe this, but there’s a growing number of Eagles fans who post a lot of stuff about how quarterbacks who target Sidney Jones fail. It never comes from someone with an opinion we respect, but it is floating around.

Think about it this way. The fact that everyone is this excited about a few pass breakups that should be routine for someone that was given first-round grades coming out of college is evidence that the Eagles haven’t gotten what they should have out of a man they drafted with the hopes that he might be okay. Come on, guys. He didn’t register an interception until 2019, and he’s only got two picks on his resume total.
