Philadelphia Eagles fans have a reason to watch NASCAR this weekend.

Even if you’re not a NASCAR fan, there’s plenty of reason for Philadelphia Eagles to check out the ARCA Racing circuit on Friday night. “Birds” fans won’t have to hunt very hard to locate a familiar logo tearing up the track at Pocono Raceway.

Sam Mayer, driver of the #21 car for GMS Racing will be manning an AO1 Foundation-themed stock car, the nonprofit organization of Eagles star signal-caller Carson Wentz. The race will air Friday evening on June 26th at 6 p.m. eastern standard time on FS1.

Here’s a couple of angles and a nice looking machine, courtesy of Philly 6-ABC sportscaster Jeff Skversky by way of GMS Racing and a few more by Capture Sports Marketing.

Here’s a little background info for Philadelphia Eagles fans (if you need it).

Mayer’s AO1-themed dragster will be the first of several paint schemes featuring nonprofit organizations that will wrap his #21 car. He’ll also feature the Bart and Cherry Starr Children’s Fund and the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation, among others.

Credit Capture Sports Marketing for making it possible for the colors Wentz’s AO1 foundation to be seen by millions of NASCAR fans. “11” founded his Army of One Foundation on July 11th of 2017 under the mantra of “uplifting individuals and communities around the world by demonstrating God’s love for his people”.
