Philadelphia Eagles fans may be enjoying one final ride with “B.G.” in 2020.

Who would have thought that things would have turned out this way? Philadelphia Eagles fans who saw the 2010 NFL Draft probably thought when Andy Reid and company traded up in the first round, they were doing so to select Earl Thomas as they had been unable to fill the void they had at safety after allowing Brian Dawkins to walk during 2009’s offseason.

Instead, “Big Red” did what he normally did in most selection meetings that he was a part of. He looked for someone to contribute in the trenches as he went with a defensive lineman on Day 1.

On this occasion, he’d select a pass rusher, and even though it took longer than most would have liked for Brandon Graham to develop and despite the fact that he’s never been elected to a Pro Bowl, he’s carved out one of the better careers by anyone to ever wear an Eagles jersey that our eyes have seen.

It’s never too early to do some scouting though, and even though the Eagles have improved their roster over the course of the offseason, there are questions about the defensive end position. One of which is whether or not this is Graham’s final run with the team. If it is, Derek Barnett, Josh Sweat, and Shareef Miller aren’t going to strike fear into the hearts of opponents, at least not now.

Don’t be surprised if, in 2021, Philly selects another defensive end. Here are ten that will make a few fans smile as potential replacements for “B.G.”
