54. . . Previous: 96th. Fletcher Cox, defensive tackle. 98. player

Fletcher Cox may not have done enough for the Philadelphia Eagles to make the “99 Club”, but he isn’t too far off.

Most NFL pundits see Aaron Donald as the best defensive tackle in all of football. he’s actually, at times, been called the game’s best player. With that being said, if he’s in the “99 Club”, it’s hard to give him the same rating, but these guys aren’t light-years apart either.

Giving Fletcher Cox a 96-overall score seems generous, especially after an off-year that was injury-laden, but we still say that he’s better than that. “91” gets a score of 98 from us, just a notch below Mr. Donald.

. Previous: 94th. Jason Kelce, Center. 96. player. 54.

If Cox is the Eagles’ best player, and he is, a strong argument can be made that Jason Kelce isn’t too far behind him as Philly’s second-best player. To be honest, there needs to be some Pro Football Hall of Fame discussions about this guy.

Sure, after three Pro Bowl nods in the last six years and three straight First-team All-Pro nods from 2017 to 2019, a 94-overall rating seems generous, but we believe the Madden rating team got confused with both Kelce and Cox. Kelce’s better than a 94, so we gave him the 96 they tried to give to “Fletch”.
