1. For once and for all, who do the Philadelphia Eagles start at cornerback on the other side of Darius Slay?

The same thing can be said about the Eagles cornerbacks that we all tend to say about the linebackers. This team has a lot of bodies, but there are more questions at the positions than answers.

Darius Slay was added, and that was good, especially if you were had the misfortune of being an Eagles fan and having to watch Ronald Darby a season ago. Never should the opposing team look at your top corner and determine that the best plan of action on offense is to keep attacking him, but that’s what everybody did when Darby was on the field in 2019. What’s worse is, more often than not, it worked.

That shouldn’t be an issue in 2020 as Philly said goodbye to the oft-injured and oft-struggling Darby and added Darius Slay via trade. They also added Nickell Robey-Coleman. With that being said, the Eagles have their shutdown corner and their slot guy. All that’s left to find out is who’s the guy on the opposite side of the formation.

Should that be Avonte Maddox, or Rasul Douglas, or Cre’Von LeBlanc or Sidney Jones? Speaking of Jones, why hasn’t he locked down a starting role? He’s had every opportunity, and he still seems to get lost in the shuffle. Keep an eye on him as 2020 is a contract season.
