3. If the Philadelphia Eagles don’t do something at running back and soon, we all need to pray for Miles Sanders.

This Eagles roster consists of Miles Sanders (we figure he’s safe), Boston Scott, Corey Clement, and Elijah Holyfield. Sanders, Scott, and Clement are three dudes that seem to have the same skill set. Many of you would like to believe that Holyfield is the sledgehammer or workhorse of the group, but that remains to be seen.

There’s a decided difference between running over one of the Dallas Cowboys’ linebackers in Week 16 and running over a six-foot and 200-pound guy from the Vanderbilt Commodores in a game the Georgia Bulldogs are supposed to win (a game the ‘Dawgs have probably worn Vandy down in. Holyfield is never going to be LeGarrette Blount. He may not even be Jordan Howard. If he isn’t, the “Birds” have no workhorse. They definitely don’t have a guy that you feel comfortable seeing run between the tackles 20 times a game. The undrafted guys, Michael Warren and Adrian Killins Jr. don’t fit that bill either, so with that being said, if Philly isn’t going to add a bruiser, there’s only one thing left for Eagles fans to do. Pray for Miles Sanders. If you’re a fan, you have to hope that these coaches don’t kill this guy.
