54. . . . OL Casey Tucker. 13. player

Casey Tucker lands among a list of three Philadelphia Eagles who may not be on the team much longer.

This sort of feels like it’s common knowledge. Casey Tucker was signed by the Eagles in May of 2019 but didn’t even make it out of training camp thanks to an August 6th release. That news broke shortly after his fight with Shareef Miller. Then, he spent most of 2019 on the Detroit Lions practice squad before being waived this past April.

Now he’s back in Philly again. Maybe he’s improved over the past year, but the Eagles drafted two offensive linemen and just brought back Jason Peters. Tucker is going to have to work hard to even have a chance at the practice squad, especially when now that the Eagles have guys like Sua Opeta. There’s no room or need for Tucker on this roster.

54. . . . WR Marcus Green. 12. player

Despite the fact that the Eagles had slot receiver Marcus Green on their practice squad for the entire season, they never promoted him to the active roster when the injuries were piling up. Greg Ward and Robert Davis both got the nod over him. Even when the Eagles wanted to call up another slot receiver, they signed Deontay Burnett to the practice squad and promoted him two weeks later.

There’s a clear lack of faith from the front office here and there’s a good chance he might not even make the practice squad this year. While Green does have some potential, the Eagles haven’t been willing to give him the opportunity to showcase that, so for that reason, his time in Philly seems to be winding down. Still, with how poorly the front office has evaluated talent at the wide receiver position, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him picked up by another team and have success somewhere else.
