Roster concerns are allowing some of these young Philadelphia Eagles to shine.

It’s a common topic every single season at this time. Can any of the forgotten guys flash, defy the odds, and make this Philadelphia Eagles roster? We knew it wouldn’t be easy. With no rookie minicamps, joint practices, or preseason games, guys were going to have to use the position meetings and grass time, what little bit they had, to impress their coaches.

As the third Monday in August rolled around, ‘the first real day of ‘the first real week’ of Eagles training camp began. The pads had finally gone on, and though we only have six days of grass time to use as a measuring stick, we’ve learned plenty.

Jalen Hurts is better than Nate Sudfeld, even though Philly will be their normally stubborn selves and refuse to admit that they’re wrong about something. Philly’s found some wide receivers. Now, though the roster seems to have taken shape, the ‘Birds’ want to determine who those last guys on the roster are.

There are some talented guys here who won’t make the team. There are some guys who may surprise us. Here’s a list of three guys that fall in the latter category. No one seems to have told them that they’re among the longshots.
