Might the Philadelphia Eagles roll the dice on a member of ‘The Tide’.

Well, at this point, there’s no way that you can bring up college football or NFL prospects without mentioning the Alabama Crimson Tide, is it? As usual, they’ll be fielding what equates to a young and game NFL farm system.

Like Georgia, they play in the mighty SEC. Like the people of Athens, the citizens of Tuscaloosa are expecting much from their football team. Like the ‘Dawgs’, ‘The Tide is trending into some familiar territory, a season that’s full of expectations. In 2020, ‘Bama will be fielding two of the game’s best corners, including Josh Jobe. He’s been a reserve for most of his first two seasons. His third run should see him touch the field as a starter.

7. player. 879. . . . Derion Kendrick, Clemson

Derion Kendrick began his career in that other ‘Death Valley’ (no disrespect intended to the Clemson Tigers or the LSU Tigers) as a wide receiver. Out of necessity, those Tigers that wear orange moved the six-foot and 190-pound Kendrick to the other side of the ball and made him a corner.

That turned out to be a wise move by Clemson’s coaches as, in 2019, this young man notched 44 total tackles, five pass breakups, and two picks. As of right now, several NFL scouts see him as someone that can come off of draft boards anywhere between Round 2 and Round 4.
