886. . . . Aaron Robinson, UCF. 6. player

Once upon a time, the Philadelphia Eagles got five years out of a former UCF star. Might they get another run out of another?

It’s amazing that UCF doesn’t get more burn nationally. They always seem to crank out NFL talent. After all, the Eagles found Greg Jefferson there once, and Jefferson hung around for about five years.

Then again, UCF doesn’t beat traditional powers and most of those NFL prospects don’t always work out, so there’s that (no disrespect to the Daunte Culpepper, Latavius Murray, Shaquem Griffin, Shawn Jefferson, Brandon Marshall or any of the other former Knights that shined in the NFL).

Here’s another of what might be the next great UCF stars in the NFL. Aaron Robinson is six-foot-one. He’s 193 pounds, and he figures to be one of the top ten cornerbacks taken in 2021’s selection meeting.

Last season, the Alabama Crimson Tide passed the torch to the LSU Tigers, for a season at least. In 2020, we’ll get to see if that was the Bayou Bengals’ version of catching lightning in a bottle or if ‘The Tide’ has turned (pun intended).
