The Philadelphia Eagles have until Saturday to introduce their 53-man roster.

Well, some kind of way, they got it done. Facing the most difficult offseason in recent NFL history, the Philadelphia Eagles made it through free agency and the most recent NFL Draft. They got their players signed. They got all of the new guys up to speed, this despite the fact that they had no rookie or mandatory minicamp to report to.

Things didn’t get any easier in the Summertime. Once their safety plan was created and approved, they got to work. That’s when Doug Pederson and several players were diagnosed with COVID-19 and sent home to quarantine. Slowly everybody began making their way back until everyone was present.

There would be no preseason games. Well, they don’t count anyway, and owners weren’t going to make any money off of those overpriced preseason tickets as fans wouldn’t be allowed to attend games. That and player and coach safety made the decision easy, but here we are.

Again, we made it. Eagles camp is in the books for 2020, and it looks like this NFL regular season is really going to happen. Thank goodness. We can all probably agree that might bring us all a little normalcy, especially seeing as how many of the NCAA’s most recognizable conferences have canceled their regular season.

So, what might this Philadelphia Eagles 53-man roster look like?

As of 12:15 on Friday afternoon, Philly’s roster sits at 65 men. Thursday afternoon, we saw 12 names added to the waiver wire and Andre Dillard’s name added to the team’s IR (injured reserve). On Friday, according to multiple sources including ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Philly released cornerback Trevor Williams. Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports that the ‘Birds’ have also waived defensive tackle T.Y. McGill.
