Questions surround the Philadelphia Eagles as Week 1 approaches.

For the third time in the past four seasons, the Philadelphia Eagles’ first stop in their journey to what they hope is Super Bowl glory begins with a game versus the Washington Football Team. For the second time since 2017, the game will be held at FedExField, and though we all know the opponent fairly well, we don’t recognize this version of them.

There’s uncertainty for Washington at quarterback. Well, that may not be unfamiliar, but the man pacing the sidelines is, sort of.

Ron Rivera‘s era begins in our nation’s capital, but he’s had no preseason. He’s never led this team through a 16-game season, and he has a lot of eyes on him following his dismissal from the Carolina Panthers.

‘Riverboat Ron’ is an Andy Reid disciple that spent a ton of time on the Eagles sideline. There have also been times where he’s been on the opposite sideline as well, and he’s succeeded in both situations. This one may come down to coaching, and make no mistake about it.  Doug Pederson has a worthy adversary on the other sideline, but the ‘Birds’ are dealing with issues of their own. Here are three as Week 1 approaches.
