. Cam Akers, running back. 10. player. 51. .

The Philadelphia Eagles need to account for this rookie running back on Sunday.

Cam Akers had a solid collegiate career as a member of the Florida State Seminoles. In three years with the Seminoles, he tallied 586 carries for 2,875 yards and 27 touchdowns. Those numbers may not scream that a guy is a top draft prospect, but the Rams liked him enough to take him with the 52nd-overall pick in 2020’s NFL Draft.

Against the Cowboys, Akers racked up 14 carries for 39 yards. Sure, that equates to a subpar 2.78 yards-per-carry average, but he figures to be a focal point of Los Angeles’ running back rotation. As a matter of fact, don’t be surprised if he receives more carries than Malcolm Brown against the Eagles.

. . Jordan Fuller, safety. 9. player. 51.

Who exactly is Jordan Fuller? The Rams selected him out of Ohio State with the 199th draft pick in 2020’s draft. It wasn’t believed that he’d have an immediate impact right out of the gate, but when projected starter Taylor Rapp went down, that paved the way for the former Buckeyes safety.

Fuller hasn’t looked back and has held on to the starting job even though Rapp is now healthy. The rookie had eight tackles against the Cowboys, and he made a key stop on fourth-and-three late in the fourth quarter in his debut. Fuller could give the Eagles trouble if they don’t account for him.
