. Robert Woods, Wide Receiver. 6. player. 51. .

The Philadelphia Eagles must account for the Rams’ core offensive players.

Jalen Ramsey is, without question, one of the NFL’s best and brightest, but he may not have the effect on Week 2’s outcome that some of his teammates may have. Not all of L.A.’s players are household names, but few of them are as important to the Rams’ success as Robert Woods is.

Woods’ anonymity isn’t because he isn’t good at what he does. It’s just that he has played under the shadow of Jared Goff, Aaron Donald, Todd Gurley for a little while, and fellow wide receiver Cooper Kupp. Woods has had back-to-back 1,000-yard receiving seasons in each of the last two campaigns, and he hauled in six receptions for 101 yards in the season opener. He’ll play an important role in the Rams offense against the Eagles in Week 2.

. . Michael Brockers, defensive tackle. 5. player. 51.

Defensive tackle Michael Brockers was acquired with one of the first-round draft choices the Rams acquired after trading the second-overall selection in 2012 to the Washington Football Team so they could select quarterback Robert Griffin III.

Often Brockers both benefits and gets overshadowed because he plays next to Aaron Donald, but he isn’t a slouch. He registered three hurries, one tackle, and one sack against the Cowboys in Week 1. If the Eagles devote too much attention to Donald, they could run the risk of letting Brockers wreak havoc at the line of scrimmage.
