Carson Wentz needs to step his game up this week for the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Philadelphia Eagles are off to a rough start, opening the season with two straight losses to the Washington Football Team and Los Angeles Rams in back-to-back weeks. While no one played particularly well in either game for the ‘Birds’, fifth-year quarterback Carson Wentz was surprisingly bad in both matchups.

In Week 3, the Eagles welcome the Cincinnati Bengals, who are also 0-2 after two weeks, to Lincoln Financial Field in what is feeling as close to a must-win game as an early-season matchup can be. Every player on this Eagles team needs to step up and perform better than they have been, but the franchise quarterback isn’t the only player on this team that needs to figure things out. Even still, the Eagles can only go as far as Wentz will take them.

Expect the best effort from ’11’ in this next game. Here are three reasons he’ll bounce back against the Bengals before the scrutiny in Philadelphia ratchets up a notch.
