5 Philadelphia Eagles positives, negatives, not including Carson Wentz
There’s much to discuss after the Philadelphia Eagles tie the Bengals.
As you’ve probably heard by now (or seen for yourself if you were watching the game) the Philadelphia Eagles‘ Week 3 matchup versus the Cincinnati Bengals ended in an extremely disappointing tie. The optimist in us all wants to say ‘hey at least they didn’t lose”, but if you’re like most ‘Birds’ enthusiasts, what you’ve seen from this team is drowning out any happy thoughts that you may have at the moment.
The Eagles aren’t demonstrating what we all thought we’d see at the beginning of this season, and unfortunately, if you love this team, the fact of the matter is it really looks like the fight has been taken out of this team after only three games.
There were quite a few reasons to be skeptical as this one approached, and the fanbase was already on edge. Philly didn’t do much to cure any of those concerns. Now, even more, doubt surrounds this team, but there are still enough bright spots in this franchise to help reignite a dwindling flame.
Staying relevant and keeping this season alive is proving to be a struggle for the Eagles. Three difficult games lie ahead, including next week’s clash with the injury-riddled San Francisco 49ers. Before we get to that, let’s talk about what we’ve already seen. Here are five positives and five negatives from a very difficult season so far, and we didn’t even need to mention Carson Wentz.
