Well, Week 4 is going to be a tough one for our Philadelphia Eagles.

Hey, stop that! Now, don’t you give up! The Philadelphia Eagles are 0-2-1, but that doesn’t mean the season is over! You’ve got two things working for you. The ‘Birds’ play in the NFC East, and with the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Football Team, and New York Giants, they make up the worst of all of the NFL’s eight divisions.

The NFC East could be represented in the playoffs by a team that has a losing record. Now, how about those apples?

Despite having failed to win a game in three tries, Philly is within one-half game of first place thanks to a hard-fought tie versus one of the worst teams in all of professional football. Now, the road gets tougher as the Eagles hit the road for two away games, one versus the San Francisco 49ers and another versus the Pittsburgh Steelers, before they return home to meet Lamar Jackson for the first time in a much-anticipated game versus the Baltimore Ravens.

Philly could be 0-5-1 after six games, but you already know that. Let’s talk about strategy. Here are five subplots to watch when the Philadelphia Eagles hit the Bay Area and take the field for Sunday Night Football versus a Niners team that’s dealing with injuries of their own.
