1. The Philadelphia Eagles landed an athletic freak in Hakeem Butler.

Butler was a combine standout. He’s tied for the second-tallest wide receiver in the past four years of the combine standing at six-foot-five, and he also weighs in at 227-pounds giving him a major size advantage over defensive backs. It’s also worth noting that his catch radius is massive with 35.25-inch arms and 10.75-inch hands allowing him to haul in almost anything in his vicinity.

For reference, Calvin Johnson had 36-inch arms and 9.75-inch hands. Now, let’s remember that Calvin Johnson’s other measurables were absolutely insane. This is not to compare Butler to ‘Megatron’ but it shows that Butler is the real deal in terms of measurables. Even at Butler’s size, he still ran a 4.48 40-yard dash displaying his athleticism. Not to mention, he put up 18 bench reps and a 128-inch broad jump. He’s going to be physical with his opponent and still display good body balance.

The Arizona Cardinals took a chance on him in the fourth-round in 2019. Unfortunately, Butler broke his hand at the end of August and missed his entire rookie season. In 2020, the Cardinals came in with DeAndre Hopkins, Christian Kirk, and Larry Fitzgerald as their starting receivers. They also liked young backups Andy Isabella, KeeSean Johnson, and Trent Sherfield which left Butler as an odd man out. That led him to the Panthers’ practice squad and now to the Eagles.
