Genard Avery highlights a list of Philadelphia Eagles that we can’t stop talking about.

Well, just when we were about to give up on Genard Avery, he puts a bow on his best game as a member of the Eagles. Once he made the active roster, a lot of Philly’s fans were asking why his spot wasn’t given to Joe Ostman. Following a brilliant game on the West Coast, Avery isn’t receiving the usual criticism heading into Week 5.

Don’t look now, but Derek Barnett might be the healthiest that he’s been since his rookie season in the NFL (2017). Hey, Brandon Graham was a late-bloomer. Barnett may be as well. After three total tackles in his 2020 debut versus the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2, he’s racked up eight total tackles, two tackles for a loss of yardage, and 2.5 sacks over the course of Week 3 and Week 4.

If this is, indeed his breakout season, that will be very helpful for a Philadelphia Eagles defense that, more often than not, has looked like it’s void of playmakers.
