Philadelphia Eagles fans will love this Week 5 NFC East Power Ranking
The Philadelphia Eagles showed how unpredictable the NFL is in 2020.
If we’re being honest, we were all surprised by the Philadelphia Eagles’ first victory of the season in Week 4, but maybe we shouldn’t be. The NFL is unpredictable, and so is the NFC East.
Just last week, it seemed like the ‘Birds’ were a sinking ship, and they were going to have a hard time gaining that first win. No one would blame you if you thought this Eagles team was atrocious. After all, quarterback Carson Wentz was playing some of the worst football of his career, and Philly’s defense didn’t seem interested in forcing turnovers or stopping anyone.
One week can surely change everything in the NFC East in a division where the growing trend has been only one of its four members will win from one week to the next. The Washington Football Team were the lone team to put a check mark in the win column during Week 1. The Dallas Cowboys did the same in Week 2, and after no one felt like winning in Week 3 (Philly did get that tie though), the ‘Birds’ got off of the schneid in Week 4 with a win.
Based on how things are unfolding in the NFC East, don’t be surprised if the New York Giants are the only team in the division come out of Week 5 with a ‘W’. In the meantime, Philadelphia sits in first place thanks to that aforementioned tie. With that being said, without further adieu, here are your Week 5 NFC East Power Rankings.
