Here’s the game plan to start a Philadelphia Eagles winning streak.

If Philadelphia Eagles fans thought last week was a tough matchup, it doesn’t get any easier in Week 5. The efficient offense and ferocious defense of the Pittsburgh Steelers await the ‘Birds’ for a crucial matchup this Sunday at 1 PM EST. Super Bowl-winning head coach Mike Tomlin has his team off to a hot start, and they’re a confident bunch.

Pittsburgh’s schedule hasn’t been anything crazy though. In Week 1, they beat a New York Giants team that clearly still has a ways to go before they are ready to compete for a playoff spot. They’re a young team that will develop with time but there’s plenty of room to grow. One week later, Tomlin’s squad took down the injury-ravaged Denver Broncos that had to put in Jeff Driskel.

Most recently, Pittsburgh reigned supreme over the winless Houston Texans who just fired head coach Bill O’Brien. This Steelers’ team hasn’t exactly faced the gauntlet thus far. Philly will be their toughest competition to date which isn’t saying much but anything can happen on any given Sunday. They’re also coming off of an unplanned bye week so maybe they will be a little rusty.

This Steelers team has been constructed perfectly on both sides of the ball. Their offensive line is one of the best, and they make everything else on offense run smoothly. The run game opens up and the Steelers go at their own pace.

The defense often gets the ball back for the offense because of the pressure their front seven generates. The secondary isn’t too shabby either and capitalizes on mistakes by opposing offenses. This isn’t going to be easy but if Philly can step up in a few key areas they’ll walk out with a ‘W’. Let’s take a look at the formula for an Eagles’ win this Sunday.
