The Philadelphia Eagles lose their third game, dropping to 1-3-1 for the season.

The Philadelphia Eagles dropped another in Week 5 game versus the Pittsburgh Steelers by a score of 38-29. This isn’t the outcome that Philly fans wanted, but this team was prepped for war and battled their behinds off in a game that could very easily have been a lopsided loss.

There were tons of ups and downs throughout this game, but Philly hung in to keep this one close for the majority of the contest. ‘Birds;’ fans saw a lot of promise in their younger guys and found questions that could be asked about the veterans. The Eagles had to take advantage of the chances that they were given, and by doing just that, this was a game that was more competitive than a lot of people thought it would be.

In this hard-fought matchup versus the ‘Black and Gold,’ many questions were answered about Philadelphia. What does this say about their identity? It was good to see what a committed Eagles team could do when the odds were so heavily stacked against them.
