Former Philadelphia Eagles QB surprises everyone as a Masked Singer
Here’s a nice distraction for Philadelphia Eagles fans.
With a 1-3-1 record after five games, new stars making a name for themselves at left tackle and at wide receiver, and a quarterback that’s been hovering around the bottom tier of players at his position all season long, Philadelphia Eagles fans are never lacking when it comes to subject matter that they can discuss when it comes to their favorite NFL team.
Occasionally, it can get to be a little redundant, but with another loss to dissect and another game still to prepare for days later, it’s easy to get wrapped up in that stuff and miss things that are going on in the world if you’re a sports fan.
Then again, if you’re a sports fan, based on what is going on in the real world, you might not be too motivated to go watch the news anyway, so you might go back to sports or try to find another distraction. Here’s one that you might find interesting if you’re tired of discussing the Baltimore Ravens game that is rapidly approaching.
A former Philadelphia Eagles signal-caller pops up on ‘The Masked Singer’.
Who knows how FOX comes up with this stuff, but it’s hard to deny that The Masked Singer has become a bit of a cultural phenomenon. It never would have made it to a fourth season if it wasn’t. Here’s one of those must-see performances that you may have missed. You’ll definitely appreciate this if you’re a ‘Birds’ fan. This clip is courtesy of The masked Singer’s official YouTube channel.
Once that was done and the mask was ripped off like the end of a Scooby-Doo cartoon, the man behind the costume and this amazing rendition of ‘It’s Time’ by the Imagine Dragons was none other than a former Eagles signal-caller. Take a look.
Mark Sanchez played in 85 career NFL games with 79 starts if you include six playoff games. As an Eagle, he’s best known for leading an offense that destroyed the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving once. For his career, despite the fact that he had some success as a quarterback, he’s best known for the ‘Butt Fumble‘ which was also on Thanksgiving.
The ‘Sanchize’ has moved on from the game now, but it’s nice to know that the smile is still there. It’s nice to see that he can make other people smile too. The Ravens can wait. People are hurting and need something to get their minds off of things, even NFL fans. This is a nice clip to pass along if you know anyone that falls into that category.
