The Philadelphia Eagles put another game in the loss column in Week 6.

In Week 6, the Philadelphia Eagles hosted the Baltimore Ravens in a game that started out rough for the ‘Birds (and that’s putting things mildly). Facing one of the NFL’s best defenses in the league, Philly was held without a single point in the first two quarters until a lucky bounce and a fumble recovery gave JJ Arcega-Whiteside his first touchdown of the season.

The ‘Birds’ were down on the scoreboard by a 24-6 margin as the third quarter closed.

Things looked grim for Philly, but they came rallying back to score 22 points in the fourth quarter to close the margin to two points. The Eagles attempted a two-point conversion to tie things, but the Ravens held the line and recovered an onside kick attempt to preserve the win. This was a hard-fought game by the Eagles, but there are still question marks about this team’s outlook going forward.

There were plenty of ups and downs (mostly downs), and there came the point where all of Philly fans (including members of this staff) had their heads down, but this team showed that there is plenty of fight left. That should give fans hope, so with that being said, let’s hand out a few MVP trophies and several performance improvement plans.
