The Philadelphia Eagles need more production from their wide receivers.

Wide receiver DeSean Jackson is expected to play on Thursday after missing the last three games. While it’s hard to envision him having a monster game against the Giants, his presence can definitely help his teammates. Always a threat to score on a long touchdown pass, his ability to stretch the field can provide another element to an Eagles team that doesn’t have much.

Wide receiver Travis Fulghman has been a revelation this year, but the Eagles need someone else to step up at the position. ‘D-Jax’ could be that player and he doesn’t even have to produce to the same level that he did in his prime. Hauling in a couple of key receptions could go a long way towards helping Philly to a victory.

No one would blame you if you were mad at wide receiver John Hightower for dropping that pass against the Ravens. You know the one. Sure, he made a mistake and deserves to be called out for that, but it’s time to move on and stop thinking about it.

Hightower needs to be ready as his number will most certainly be called against the Giants. He will have a chance to redeem himself, and if he makes good on his opportunities, the rookie wide receiver will continue to see playing time in 2020.
