Doug Pederson, Head Coach. 1. player. 54. . .

The Philadelphia Eagles on this list need to step it up going forward.

It isn’t a shock that head coach Doug Pederson is on the wrong side of a ‘studs and duds’ list. The head coach was awful in Philly’s second primetime game of the season. The time management was awful. So was the play-calling. At times, he just looked lost.

Understandably injuries to key players limit what he can do with his playbook, but that’s no excuse at this point. Pederson needs to get his mojo back and tailor his playcalling to fit what he has available. His team looked unprepared, and that always starts with the head coach.

54. . . . Jake Elliott, Kicker. 2. player

Jake Elliott has missed important field goals in each of the past three games. Once a fan favorite, their faith in him is now disappearing. Doug Pederson is aggressive by nature, but is it possible that some of these two-point conversations are a sign of his distrust in Elliott? That miss from 29 yards out in Week 7 was brutal.

. . The offensive line. 3. player. 54.

Yes, this is a unit that has been strung together by late-round draft picks and practice squad players due to injuries. Yes, they’ve shown some promise in the past few games, but from left to right, each offensive linemen struggled against a not so imposing Giants’ defensive front.

Bad penalties, misreads, and bad technique allowed the ‘G Men’ to do whatever they wanted versus the Eagles’ offensive line. This is a major concern for this Eagles team, and it needs to be addressed quickly, if for no other reason than Wentz’s health.
