Do you ever think about when the Philadelphia Eagles fired Sean McDermott?

You’re either a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan or someone with too much time on his or her hands (or both) if you’ve thought about the following statement. Do you ever watch Buffalo Bills games and think to yourself that Philly missed out on one heck of a coach or gave up on an assistant coach much too early? Let’s talk about Sean McDermott, shall we?

Oh yeah! There’s plenty of room for him to improve, His team hasn’t won anything that matters yet, They’ve made the playoffs twice. They hadn’t done that since the ‘Music City Miracle’, Still, even with all of that being said, that McDermott guy is still pretty good.

In 2020, his Bills sit at 5-2. That’s tops in the AFC East after seven weeks, but as Buffalo searches for that elusive Super Bowl win (they’re the only AFC East team not to put a Lombardi Trophy on the shelf), but it’s hard not to think about something if you love Philly. What if this guy never left the nest? That could have led to quite a few different outcomes.
