Philadelphia Eagles versus Dallas: 10 Birds who must step up in Week 8

Here are two Philadelphia Eagles in the front seven that need to shine.

So, far Javon Hargrave’s three-year, $39 million deal with the Eagles averages out to about just under $2 million per tackle thanks to his seven tackle and one sack tally on the season. That isn’t going to get it.

A porous Cowboys line may give him a chance for target practice, but so far, it looks like someone who has spent most of his career in a 3-4 defensive scheme (three defensive linemen and four linebackers) is having a hard time adjusting to Jim Schwartz’s 4-3 (four defensive linemen and three linebackers).

T.J. Edwards is one of those guys that Eagles fans have long been excited about. After missing the last three games thanks to injury, he’s healthy, or as healthy as one can be at this point of the season. Philly needs to get a big game out of both him and Alex Singleton.
