The Philadelphia Eagles win again in ugly fashion.

If Philadelphia Eagles fans didn’t watch Week 8’s Sunday Night Football game and just looked at the score the next day, they probably would have seen a 23-9 score and thought nothing of it, but those who did watch saw the Cowboys gain more total offensive yards, generate more turnovers, convert more third-down attempts, and dominate time of possession. To be honest, Dallas should have come away with the win.

The Cowboys strung a few trick plays together, but once an opening first drive stalled, unfortunately for ‘Dem Boys,’ this would be the theme of their offense for the remainder of the night.

Philly’s first drive of the night started strong with a 19-yard run from Boston Scott, but after that, disaster struck. Quarterback Carson Wentz fumbled twice, threw two interceptions, and the offense sputtered. The score doesn’t reflect it, but Philly’s offense wasn’t much to watch for most of the night.

For the second week in a row, Eagles fans are left with more questions than answers and with more concerns than reassurances. The truth is, if this game had been played against anyone other than Dallas, the Eagles would’ve walked out of Lincoln Financial Field as the losing team, but hey, a win is a win. With all that being said, let’s dive into the five studs (yes, we found five) and five duds as Philly enters their bye week.
