Philadelphia Eagles midseason roster grades for every position
Let’s hand out some grades at the midpoint of the Philadelphia Eagles’ season.
Well, who predicted any of this? Before the start of the Philadelphia Eagles‘ 2020 regular season, this proud franchise had to put a team together without the benefit of NFL preseason games.
Philadelphia re-signed Josh McCown, the head coach, Doug Pederson, caught COVID-19, and somehow, Jason Peters worked his way back onto the team. Then, he held the team to ransom because his coaches asked him to make a position switch in an attempt to keep their quarterback from getting killed.
Then, the games began. Philly imploded versus a team rival with no nickname, everybody got hurt (as usual), and every Eagles fan had to watch in horror as the ‘Birds’ struggled to a tie at home versus an inferior team with a rookie quarterback.
How in the world is this team in first place in this division? If you’re an Eagles fan, you have to hope you see a better version of this team after the bye in the second half of the season. Currently, they stand at 3-4-1, and when they get back to work, they’ll meet the Giants for the second game of their annual two-game series. Let’s hand out some grades.
