Calling the Philadelphia Eagles’ season disappointing is an understatement.

All Philadelphia Eagles fans can agree that the 2020 NFL season has been a letdown. It started Starting during the offseason with questionable draft picks, but there was also a sense that several team concerns had quieted by some key offseason moves.

Some of the more expensive veterans have been unable to make the impact they need to due to a natural regression or because of a sustained injury, and the amount of injuries this team has sustained has been indescribable. As a result, Philly more often than not has been left with a bare-bones roster.

There have been a few bright spots, but those moments have been overshadowed by some disappointing performances by Philly’s star players. It isn’t all doom and gloom for the ‘Iggles though. They still have possession of first place in the NFC East (which isn’t saying much), and they’re starting to get some much-needed help with star players returning from injury.

The Eagles still have a tough schedule ahead of them, but many of those games are winnable. Birds fans hope this team can come back off of their bye ready to compete, but they need their best efforts from the underperforming guys. Here are five Birds that have been the biggest disappointments so far in 2020.
