Philadelphia Eagles: 2 Midseason lessons for Carson Wentz
Is anyone else curious about what the Philadelphia Eagles’ QB did on Sunday?
As the Philadelphia Eagles (and some of their fans) enjoyed some time off during their Week 9 bye, some of the NFL’s overall picture began to come into focus. Most of us can now see which of these teams are playoff contenders and which teams need to start preparing for next year’s draft.
Birds fans were taught many lessons during the bye week, including how they stack up against the rest of the league, but watching other great quarterbacks play has also taught us a lot about Carson Wentz.
Who knows what 11 did this weekend. Maybe he was hunting. For argument sake, let’s say that he was but QB1 got done with the great outdoors early and still managed to find his way in front of a television set to watch the later games on Sunday. If he did, hopefully, he gained a few pointers from some other veteran quarterbacks.
Hopefully, he was watching Ben Roethlisberger and Russell Wilson. There was much that 11 could internalize from both a Steelers win and a Seattle Seahawks loss. Here are two obvious things that should have stuck out.
