Philadelphia Eagles 2021 Pac-12-only, 3-round NFL mock draft
The Philadelphia Eagles wouldn’t add another Stanford prospect, would they?
If you read ITI relatively frequently, you’ve probably seen us say this before, but someone at the NovaCare Complex watches a ton of Stanford Cardinal football. It’s either that or Zach Ertz is pitching some of the guys that played for his alma mater to the Eagles brass.
Currently, there are three former Stanford standouts on the Eagles roster. The aforementioned Ertz is on the team’s injured reserve. Nate Herbig and JJ Arcega-Whiteside (remember him?) are on the active roster. Philly even drafted another of David Shaw’s guys in Round 7 of 2020’s NFL Draft before allowing him to get out of the door.
They’ll pay for that one. Toohill is now a member of the Washington Football Team.
Here’s the skinny on cornerback Paulson Adebo. He’s six-foot-one and tips the scales at 190 pounds. He probably would have heard his name called in the second round of 2020’s NFL Draft, but with another year of experience (and game film), he could slide into Round 1 during 2021’s selection meeting.
He makes sense for an Eagles team that could lose Jalen Mills, Nickell Robey-Coleman, Cre’Von LeBlanc, and Craig James during 2021’s offseason.
Honorable mention: Walker Little (offensive tackle, Stanford), Joe Tryon, (defensive end/outside linebacker, Washington), Jay Tufele (defensive tackle, USC)
