. . Press Taylor, QBs/pass game coord.. 1. player. 54.

This may be the worst coach that the Philadelphia Eagles employ.

There may not be a worse coach on Philly’s staff than the guy who has the most contact with their star signal-caller. Ask yourself a question. Whenever Wentz does one of those bone-headed things that he does, how often have you seen him come to the sideline and get some coaching from Press Taylor?

If we’re being honest, some of this fan base would have a difficult time picking this guy out of a lineup. That’s neither here nor there though. Let’s talk about what can only be described as the eyeball test.

In 2020, Taylor had the title of passing game coordinator added to his resume. He’s been Philly’s quarterbacks’ coach since 2018 when John DeFilippo left. Perhaps Philly should have paid DeFilippo whatever he wanted.

Carson Wentz has never looked worse. His decision-making is awful. His mechanics are trash. He constantly looks unprepared, and no one is holding him accountable. That’s on Press. Say what you will. Defend him all you want if you’re a fan of his, but the evidence is damning. As long as he’s the guy in Wentz’s ear, 11 is never going to get better. Carson’s buddy has got to go.
