This ‘Canes star provides some huge upside for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Even though we hear ‘the Miami Hurricanes are back’ every single college football season, something happens to demonstrate that they’re still a ways away from being that program we remember from the 90s.

The swagger isn’t always there, even though they’ve tried to recapture it by throwing turnover chains on their best players on defense when big plays are made, but no Howard Schnellenberger, Jimmy Johnson, or Dennis Erickson-led team would have ever been smacked around like Manny Diaz’s guys were against Clemson Tigers in 2020.

Maybe that’s a bad example because we know Clemson is good. We also know that the ‘Canes have talent in their own wheelhouse. Guys like Gregory Rousseau, Quincy Roche, and Bubba Bolden will get some attention from NFL scouts. Tight end Brevin Jordan should get his fair share of burn as well.

The latter is six-foot-three. He tips the scales at 245 pounds. He’s a little shorter than both Ertz and Goedert, but he’s just as talented as both of those guys were when they entered the league. His success in the NFL will come down to coaching, and the Birds have a good tight ends coach in Justin Peelle.
