Many lessons were learned during another Philadelphia Eagles loss.

Be forewarned. The next statement may not be one that you want to hear if you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan, but believe it or not, thanks to an idle New York Giants team and thanks to that now-infamous tie, despite losing to the Cleveland Browns in Week 11 and despite the Washington Football team winning their game, Philly still holds onto their share of first place in the worst division in the NFL.

You know Carson Wentz is having the worst season of any quarterback in the NFL. You know Doug Pederson will be criticized heavily in the coming days. Unfortunately, it’s hard to find reasons to praise this team. Finding reasons to criticize them is much easier.

The Browns scored on an ugly-looking pick-six in this game’s second stanza. In the third quarter, Cleveland scored two points on a safety. That led to a free kick which resulted in a successful field goal by former Eagle Cody Parkey. Philly lost by five, and those were the plays that helped decide this one. Here are five of about 20 lessons that can be taken from this one.
