These next two are debatable if you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan but worth mentioning.

4. Richard Rodgers needs some sort of extension.

Richard Rodgers has been phenomenal. Put a period on that sentence. He may not be a true number-one tight end, but he’s proven that he deserves to be on this team, especially if Philly moves on from Zach Ertz. Philly will need to find another complimentary piece to split snaps with Rodgers and Dallas Goedert though if moving 86 becomes a reality.

5. The Eagles have given up on JJ Arcega-Whiteside.

Though we all hope that JJ Arcega-Whiteside is okay (he’s currently on the Eagles’ Reserve/COVID-19 list), his time in Philly may be over. He was designated as a healthy scratch in Week 10, and even though the Birds knew that they’d be playing in Week 11 minus John Hightower, Deontay Burnett, and Quez Watkins, it’s hard to imagine a scenario where he would have gotten on the field in Week 11 even if he was healthy.

Despite being taken in Round 2 of 2019’s NFL’s Draft, JJAW is, more than likely, staring up at Jalen Reagor, Travis Fulgham, John Hightower, Alshon Jeffery, Greg Ward, and maybe even Deontay Burnett on the Eagles wide receiver depth chart.
