Philadelphia Eagles original pick (210) – OT Prince Tega Wanogho (Auburn)

Offensive tackle Prince Tega Wanogho has yet to see a regular-season snap and has been designated as a protected practice squad player for the Philadelphia Eagles. This protects him from being poached by another team.

He has potential due to his large frame and athleticism, but is relatively new to the sport and lacks football experience. Tega Wanogho will likely be a long term project who the Eagles will keep around.

It’s tough to find a proven talent this late in the draft, so the pick of Tega Wanogho was probably the correct one. He has a high upside due to his athleticism and could, if all goes well, develop into a starting offensive tackle for the Eagles.

Jordan Mailata is the most similar to Tega Wanogho in terms of potential, and he has been a pleasant surprise for the Eagles this season. The Birds were able to develop Mailata after a few years and are hoping to do the same for Tega Wanogho.
