Philadelphia Eagles original pick (198) – LB Shaun Bradley (Temple)

At the time, Shaun Bradley seemed like a home run of a pick for the Philadelphia Eagles. At Temple, Bradley was a sure tackler and although he was undersized, his speed and instincts made up for his frame.

But his play has not been able to translate to the NFL. He’s only recorded five defensive snaps in the past three games. It’s obvious that Schwartz does not trust Bradley enough to place him in the lineup.

Philadelphia Eagles redraft pick (198) – CB Dane Jackson (Pitt)

After cutting Sidney Jones and Rasul Douglas in the offseason, it became clear that the Eagles were trying to revamp their secondary. Drafting Dane Jackson would expedite the process.

Jackson has only played in three games due to injury, but he has recorded 12 tackles and an interception on the year. More than anything, Jackson is a capable corner who can play every defensive snap. Never hurts to have one of those guys.
