Philadelphia Eagles: 4 Possible FA replacements for Alshon Jeffery
Kenny Golladay is a name Philadelphia Eagles fans know well.
If, as a Philadelphia Eagles fan, your knowledge of Kenny Golladay is limited to seeing him in a game versus the Birds in 2019, you may have missed the point of bringing him up. Then again, if you’re a Birds fan, you probably don’t watch the Detroit Lions much. Heck, if you’re a Lions fan, you may not watch the Lions much, so here goes.
Golladay is a six-foot-four and 214-pound target that wouldn’t be too hard to spot in the Eagles’ offense. If you need a comparison, he’s about an inch shorter than Jeffery with a similar body. Both are quicker than fast, but Golladay probably beats Jeffery in a foot race.
Golladay also has 47 NFL games with 39 professional starts on his NFL resume. As a result, at the time of this story being published, he’s hauled in 183 passes for 3,068 yards and 21 trips to the end zone. If DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery both leave the Eagles’ nest during 2021’s offseason, a very real possibility, Golladay makes a transition to a new corps as seamless as possible.
