What in the world happened to the Philadelphia Eagles?

If you’re a fan, a member of the media, or anyone who follows the NFL, you’ve no doubt asked a question that’s been asked with relative frequency. What has happened to this Philadelphia Eagles team? That one’s normally followed by another. How can the Eagles’ front office and coaching staff fix this? Can they fix this?

Since winning the Super Bowl, this team has taken a step backward in each of the past three seasons. In 2020, they seem to have gotten worse week over week, and lately, every time it looks like things are improving, another issue rears its ugly head.

To be blunt, all aspects of this entire organization seem to be in total disarray, and what might be even worse is it appears that the franchise is in denial. The Eagles aren’t a good football team, and the fight seems to have left the locker room.

Doug Pederson has shown his ability to rally his team before, but there seems to be no magic this season, but how about this? What if you were told the writing was on the wall in 2017?
