Ohio State’s best receiver must be on the Philadelphia Eagles’ draft board.

Even if you had never heard of Chris Olave, if he stepped into a room that you were in, you might not believe that he was an NFL wide receiver. Following his junior season with Ohio State in 2020, he’ll soon be living that dream though.

Olave isn’t as tall as the great NFL receivers. He’s six-foot-one. He could also stand to add a few pounds to his frame for the next level as he’s right around 188 pounds.

He had a few bad plays and let a few opportunities slip through his hands versus the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the Buckeyes’ season opener, but if he isn’t in your top five of the best wide receivers available after Ja’Marr Chase, you might need to alter your list somewhat.

His first two seasons in Columbus produced 60 receptions for 1,037 yards and 15 trips to the end zone over the course of 20 games. Place his name on your imaginary draft boards if you’re a Birds fan.
