The Philadelphia Eagles will be facing a familiar foe.

When the Philadelphia Eagles host the Seattle Seahawks for Week 12’s Monday Night Football showdown. it will be the third time that these two teams have met on the football field in a little over 12 months. This is the 19th meeting between these two teams with the series lead belonging to the Seahawks (11-7), but as Philly’s fans know, Seattle has had the Iggles’ number over the course of the last five games. Russell Wilson has never lost to the guys in midnight green.

Forget about the Birds’ current record for just a second. Most fans had this game pegged as a loss before the 2020 season even got going. Now, given how the Eagles are currently playing, the thought on every Philly fan’s mind is just how badly the Seahawks are going to beat the Birds come Monday night.

Make no mistake. This is going to be one of the toughest games the Eagles play in all year. Seattle’s only losses on the season have come against serious playoff contenders, but despite being an offensive juggernaut, Philadelphia might have a chance at catching Seattle off guard.

It will take the best effort of every member of the franchise (and some prayers), but it is possible. Can the Eagles stay competitive in this matchup? Let’s dive into some concerns surrounding the next MNF showdown.
