Might one of the newest Philadelphia Eagles be playing for Texas?

For a state that loves football so much, you’d expect more from one of their more storied programs. Seriously, do guys from Texas even commit to the Longhorns anymore?

Who knows when they’ll be able to turn it around, but year after year you can look at a few guys and say to yourself ‘that guy belongs in the NFL on someone’s roster’. If you need any evidence of that look no further than future offensive tackle prospect Sam Cosmi. Expect to hear his name a lot as we move through the draft process and get closer to the actual selection meeting in April.

Cosmi isn’t one of the bigger offensive tackles as he’s somewhere around the six-foot-six and 295-pound range, but some of the early indications are, by the time the dust clears and the smoke settles, this young man will be one of the five best offensive tackles in the coming draft and an even better prospect at the position than former Longhorn Connor Williams was.

That’s saying a lot if any of you are familiar with how good Mr. Williams was at the collegiate level. The question is this. Is Cosmi a day-one or a day-two prospect?
