5 Philadelphia Eagles legends who probably won’t be on their 2021 roster
It sucks to say this, but B.G.’s time with the Philadelphia Eagles might be dwindling.
There may not be a more famous strip-sack in NFL history than Brandon Graham‘s forced turnover in Super Bowl LII versus Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. That is seeing as how Charles Woodson’s strip and takedown of a younger Tom Brady was ruled as an incomplete forward pass almost 20 years ago.
B.G. has been in Philly so long that he’s played for Andy Reid, Chip Kelly, and Doug Pederson. Like a fine wine, he’s only gotten better with time, and once this team’s games versus the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints are over in Week 12 and Week 13, he’ll pass Trent Cole, and he’ll stand alone atop a list of defensive linemen who have played the most games in an Eagles jersey. Week 14’s game will be his 156th game played.
11 years is a long time to do anything, and though B.G.’s 11th NFL season will wind up being his best, it might also be his final campaign in the midnight green, black, white, and silver. He’s just too expensive, and for a team that can’t afford to pay anyone a king’s ransom because of what will be a smaller cap next season, tough choices will need to be made.
No one wants to see Graham play somewhere else, Philly will do everything that they can to keep him home, but the facts are the facts, he may be wearing some other team’s jersey come next season unless of course, he’s willing to take less money to stay in town.
