The Philadelphia Eagles have now lost four straight games.

Well, Philly fans, Week 13 was an interesting one, to say the least. The Philadelphia Eagles fall to 3-8-1 on the year after losing to the Green Bay Packers by a score of 30-16. Some things went the way most fans expected. Others brought a few surprises, both good and bad.

For the fans that turned the game off at halftime (trust us, we all felt the same way), here’s your recap. The Eagles are a bad team. All caught up? Just kidding, but seriously this team is just awful.

On their first drive, the Birds moved the ball moderately well. The drive eventually stalled and ended with a field goal. On their second possession, things ended with a punt.

The Eagles didn’t get into the red zone for the remainder of the first half as the Packers scored on back-to-back touchdown drives before both teams headed to the locker room. In the second half, Philly’s punter, Cameron Johnston, continued to get a workout. A change was made at the quarterback position before things totally got out of control.

Jalen Hurts lined up under center. The question was how long he’d play, but the rookie stayed in for the remainder of the game. Hurts provided a spark this Birds team hasn’t had for weeks and even got Philly’s offense into the end zone thanks to a beautiful touchdown throw on fourth and long to Greg Ward.

Now, did Hurts have an incredible showing? No, but he was able to breathe life into the rest of the team as things got more competitive. Sadly, we now also have more evidence of just how bad things have gotten for this franchise. Now that we are all caught up, let’s dive into the few studs and the many duds on this Eagles team as Week 14 approaches.
